Visitors can meet many characters that are a little different from those in the zoo, such as insects, giant tortoises, water creatures, and small animals. Its exhibition style is also very close to the living creatures, including exhibits that can be viewed from inside the tanks, touchable exhibits, and hands-on exhibits! More than 500 species of living creatures are kept there.

The spacious site of approximately 650,000 square meters includes lawn areas, playground equipment, a pond, and barbecue grounds. Flowers can be enjoyed in each season, but especially in spring, when about 1,000 cherry trees are in full bloom, it is a good idea to buy a box lunch and go out to view the cherry blossoms.

A lawn with an old house, surrounded by cherry trees, rice paddies and fields, reminds us of Adachi's "farming" landscape in the past. Events for visitors are offered throughout the year. There is also a playground with a large slide for children to run around and play. Scenery of cherry blossoms, tulips, sunflowers, and cosmos entertain visitors in each season. Located near the Arakawa riverbank, it is a great place to ride a bicycle.
