The National Sport Up Close!
Sumo wrestling is the national sport in Japan. There are 3 Sumo stables in Adachi City. You might be able to see the morning trainings by the powerful wrestlers on the rings right before your own eyes. Please check the stables’ schedule before visiting.

Tamanoi Stable

The stable was established by the former Sekiwake (the third-highest rank in professional Sumo wrestling), Tochiazuma the first. To see the morning training (9:00-10:00), reservations are required.

Tamanoi Stable

Sakaigawa Stable

Walk 5 minutes from Minumadai-shinsuikoen Station on the Nippori-Toneri Liner.

Visits are limited to the members of the stable’s supporters’ club.
