How to View Webpages in Chinese and Korea

In order to view webpages in foreign languages other than English (such as Chinese and Korean), the fonts necessary to display each language must be installed in the computer. If the relevant font has not been installed in the computer, please download it from the Internet.

* The responsibility for installing the fonts lies entirely with the user.
Installation methods differ depending on the operating system; please refer to the following guide for further information.

How to Install Fonts

Windows
Usually, if you open a page for which the relevant language code is specified correctly, a message confirming the installation of the font will be displayed automatically, so the font should be installed according to these instructions.
If this message is not displayed, the necessary font should be downloaded and installed from Microsoft's Global IME (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/worldwide/ie6sp1downloads.mspx), according to the instructions provided there.

Korean	Microsoft Global IME for Korean - with Language Pack

Macintosh
Please use the Multilingual Internet Access customized installation option provided on the installation CD-ROM for Apple Computer operating systems. Please see the CD-ROM for further details or ask the agent from which you purchased the operating system.

Browser Settings

Please use version 4.X or above of Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator as your browser.
The characters for some Japanese placenames may not be displayed correctly on pages coded for Chinese characters. We recommend that Windows users use Internet Explorer Version 5 or higher, or Netscape Navigator Version 6.2 or higher, while Macintosh users are advised to use Safari.

Choose the relevant settings for the language from the settings menu of your browser. The installation method will differ according to the type of browser and the version thereof, so please refer to the help menu of your browser for further details.

Printing

Depending on the printer of use, printing may be correctly impossible. In this case, please choose "graphic mode", "photograph mode", etc. with the property of a printer. Still, when not repaired, please ask a printer maker.
