Welcome to Adachi City!
Located in the northeast part of metropolitan Tokyo, Adachi City is rich in natural greenery, is surrounded by rivers, and is a traditional area overflowing with warmhearted people. It has a land area of 53.20 km2 and is the third largest city of the 23 cities of Tokyo. It has a population of over 650,000 people, making it the fifth most populated city in Tokyo. There are approximately 22,000 foreign residents from 101 different countries living in our city, and for this reason, we publish Liv-In, a useful multilingual guide for everyday living in Adachi City.
